- assessment responses, interview data, and evaluation notes
- psychometric assessment results and reports
For the purposes of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), psychometric assessment information and psychological evaluation data are treated as health information, being information relating to an individual’s mental or psychological health and associated assessments.
3. How We Collect Personal Information
Personal information may be collected:
- directly from you
- from the organisation engaging our services
- through psychometric assessment platforms when you complete assessments
- through meetings, interviews, coaching sessions, or workshops
Where reasonable and practicable, we collect personal information directly from the individual concerned.
4. Purpose of Collection and Use
We collect and use personal information only for purposes related to delivering our services, including:
- administering assessments and preparing reports
- providing coaching and development services
- communicating with Clients and Candidates
- meeting legal, regulatory, and professional obligations
- managing disputes and quality assurance
We do not sell personal information or use it for unrelated purposes.
5. Disclosure of Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to:
- Clients or their authorised representatives for whom services are provided
- third-party service providers, including psychometric assessment providers and cloud based systems
- professional advisers (such as legal or accounting advisers)

Where personal information is disclosed to third parties, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable privacy obligations.
6. Overseas Disclosure
Some third-party service providers we use may store or process information outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure that overseas recipients handle personal information in a manner consistent with Australian privacy requirements. By providing personal information, you consent to such overseas storage or processing where required for service delivery.

Health information, including psychometric assessment data, is generally retained for a minimum period of seven (7) years, after which it is deleted or anonymised, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you by contacting us in writing. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request. We aim to respond to access and correction requests within a reasonable period, generally within 30 days, unless otherwise required by law.

If you have concerns about how we have handled personal information, you may contact us in writing. We will investigate and respond to complaints in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, Crescent People will take appropriate steps in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including notifying affected individuals and the OAIC where required.
